The butterfly grenade
Announced in May and then postponed to this Fall, I will be back in TV on Wednesday the 9th of October 9 on RAI 1 (the main Italian TV Channel) at 9pm, in the movie "The butterfly grenade" based on the book by Nando Dalla Chiesa about Gigi Meroni, the football player of Turin died in 1967, who used to have this nickname “La Farfalla Granata”.
I play the role of Giovanni, the antagonist in love of Gigi Meroni, the director student of Fellini romantically linked to Cristiana (Alexandra Dinu), the woman who then falls in love with the young footballer, played by Alessandro Roja, directed by Paul Poets.
Protagonist of a difficult and invincible love, this is a challenging role with extreme sensitivity for an intense and passionate story.
The soundtrack of the film, produced by Goodtime (Gabriella Bontempi and Massimo Martino), is entrusted to the grandson of the player, the internationally renowned composer Gigi Meroni.
I recently was on screen with special roles in "You and me" by Bernardo Bertolucci and "Cha cha cha" by Marco Risi, and just back from the United States where, during the summer, I was involved in the role of a modern-day Virgil in original language, for the short film "Into the Inferno".
Also on RAI 1, the next scheduled film is "Mr. Ignis", the story of Giovanni Borghi, where I am co-protagonist.

La Farfalla Granata
Annunciato a maggio e poi posticipato, Mercoledì 9 ottobre torno su RAI 1 alle ore 21, nel film "La farfalla granata", tratto dall’omonimo libro di Nando Dalla Chiesa su Gigi Meroni, il calciatore del Torino morto nel 1967.
Sarò Giovanni l’antagonista in amore di Gigi Meroni, il regista allievo di Fellini sentimentalmente legato a Cristiana (Alexandra Dinu), la donna che poi si innamora del giovane calciatore, interpretato da Alessandro Roja, con la regia di Paolo Poeti.
Protagonista di un amore difficile ed invincibile, è un ruolo impegnativo con estrema sensibilità per una storia intensa ed appassionata.
La colonna sonora del film, prodotto dalla Goodtime di Gabriella Buontempo e Massimo Martino, è affidata al nipote del calciatore, il compositore di fama internazionale Gigi Meroni.
Dopo il cinema con la partecipazione amichevole nel film “Io e te” di Bernardo Bertolucci e “Cha cha cha” di Marco Risi, sono appena rientrato dagli Stati Uniti dove l’estate mi ha visto impegnato nel ruolo di un moderno Virgilio in lingua originale, per il cortometraggio “Into the Inferno”.

E' infatti come se qualcuno avesse costruito uno smisurato calcolatore che richiede decenni di lavoro per essere messo in funzione. Però questo calcolatore non l'ha installato in un grande edificio razionale, non l'ha protetto, alimentato in modo appropriato. No, lo ha lasciato in edifici decrepiti o addirittura all'aperto, al sole, all'aria, al vento, sotto l'acqua, dove incomincia a deteriorarsi prima di essere programmato e dove, in poco tempo, diventa un rottame.

A gentleman with eyes of ice
This is how they defined me in the last article.... a gentleman with eyes of ice, an actor with an impressive resume... That's true I've done so many things, with the passion and enthusiasm for a noble art.
I started with music, thanks to a scholarship I went to the school of theatre with Vittorio Gassman and then I interpreted many roles in the Italian and international world of cinema, in movies, short films, commercials, music videos and TV.
I devoted myself to this work and I gained prizes and recognitions, I participated to international Festivals, such as Cannes and New York. But in my life I never lost the passion, irony and sensitivity that many people tell me I have.

Un gentleman dagli occhi di ghiaccio
Così mi hanno definito nell'ultimo articolo....un gentiluomo dagli occhi di ghiaccio, un attore con un ricco curriculum...E' vero ho fatto veramente tante cose, con la passione e l'entusiasmo per una nobile arte.
Ho iniziato con la musica, grazie ad un borsa di studio ho frequentato la scuola di teatro con Vittorio Gassman e da lì sono arrivato ad interpretare tanti ruoli nel cinema italiano ed internazionale, in film, cortometraggi, spot, videoclip e televisione.
Mi sono impegnato e ho ottenuto premi e riconoscimenti, ho partecipato a Festival internazionali, come Cannes e New York. Ma nella vita non ho mai perso la passione, l'ironia e la sensibilità che tanti mi dicono di avere.
